Some people prefer movies to books.  Is that you?  If so, share about your favorite movies, types of moves, or why you love movies.

When I was in Korea, I usually read a book in library in my university. Frankly speaking, I don't enjoy reading lastly. I used to read books about sociology. Because It can inspire me to take a growing interest in our society. Also, I have been interested in social phenomenon and politics. That would be because my major is media communication that I have to concern about society.

For a long time, since I have heard music, my dream has been involved in making music or music industry.
When I was a child, I learned a piano, guitar, drum, and other classical instruments like flute. Also, I used to sing a song in front of many people if there were festivals of school or something. As you see, I like whatever I can feel rhythm and melody. Now I have a new dream job is a Disk Jockey as known as DJ. DJ is a kind of music player who select suitable music in party or club and make people enthusiastic.

I have learned to play controller which can play and mix music. So far, I have practice it and searched various kinds of music. I'm preparing my own mix set including Hip-hop and Electronic music. After going back to Korea, I want to be a one of famous DJ in the biggest club and perform with other musician. Moreover, after I become popular with it, I will come back to America to play in Las Vegas or New York. And then, I will participate in super large music festivals and travel around the world.

That is just my dream job. But, actually, I'm preparing of that since I really want to be a famous DJ in Korea. So I will keep going to prepare it and do my best on and on.

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.”

Hi, everyone!
I'm SUMMER. My real name is Jiyeon Byeon, but please go by Summer, instead.
I'm from South Korea and in the middle of my junior.
I arrived in US on 19th, August and live in dormitory on campus.

I love all about chocolate. Even now, i'm eating chocolate cookies and chocolate milk.
And I'm obsessed with the American soap opera named 'Modern Family'.
That is so hilarious as well as touching.
Especially, I like the character named Luke who is mischievous boy in that.

I usually enjoy playing some activities outdoors like volleyball.
Moreover, I really want to learn skateboarding.
Because I have seen a bunch of people go skateboarding on campus and like outdoor activity.

Let me tell you guys why I decide to come here.
There are a few opportunities to familiar with other countries people when i was in Korea.
So I was looking for chance to go study other country so that I could exprience different culture.
Then I applied to exchange student program, finally I have been here for 3 weeks.
Since then I think my english is not good to communicate others, so I am studying hard recently.

I hope to become familiar with you guys.
Thanks for reading my first posting!
